Harvey Houses
Six Houses, one Harvey family. Every Shark belongs to a House — discover the crests, colors, and stories behind each one.
Harvey K-8 is home to six Houses — Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, Onraka, Rêveur, and Sollevare. Each House has its own crest, color, and story, built around a value we want every Shark to carry with them — kindness, friendship, courage, balance, big dreams, and lifting each other up.
House Sorting happens in 3rd grade — and it's the hat that chooses! Sorting Day is one of the most exciting days on campus, and once a Shark is Sorted, that House is theirs all the way through 8th grade.
New students joining Harvey at any grade level are placed into a House shortly after the school year begins, so every Shark has a House to call home from the start.
Our youngest Sharks, in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, aren't Sorted by the hat just yet — but they're welcome to cheer for the House of an older sibling or a favorite teacher until it's their turn to be Sorted in 3rd grade.
